AMERICA AND THE WORLD
World War I really changed the opinion of America in the world. The war made us seem more aggressive and stronger as a nation, if imperialism didn't do that already. America strengthened its ties with countries such as Britain and France and Germany became a new enemy. America increased trade to Europe and began doing more exports in the trade market. This included trade of many vehicles and weapons to Europe.

ENVIRONMENT AND GEOGRAPHY
World War I recreated borders in Europe especially. Russia was forced to divide its lands into what is now Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia. Germany and Austria gave up its lands which became Poland, Yugoslavia, Czechslovakia, and Hungary. The environment of trench warfare created what is known as the Spanish Flu and also trench foot. Both of these diseases claimed millions of lives across the world. The world changed a lot after World War I and it would be another 15 years or so until Hitler rose to power.
